PRESENTATION
Josep Maria Solà Colomer was born on 29 May 1970 in Sant Feliu de Pallerols, Garrotxa County.
At an early age he became aware of his passion for drawing and painting, and was introduced to the basic techniques of sketching, perspective and colour by his first teacher, the artist Josep Colomer.
In 1991, he began to study Fine Arts in Olot, and graduated in 1996 in Applied Arts and Crafts, specialising in Mural Painting.
Josep Maria Solà Colomer held his first solo exhibition at 16 years old and, encouraged by favourable reviews, set out on his artistic career devoting himself exclusively to painting. He holds several exhibitions every year, alternating between galleries that have built up a faithful public for his works. To date he has held over 75 solo exhibitions.
